How To Melt White Chocolate in the Microwave
The easiest and most convenient way to melt white chocolate is in the microwave. But you have to be careful not to burn it. If you have a microwave with a high wattage, reduce the temperature. You can start melting at about 30 seconds remove and mix. Intervals at 10-15 until fully melted and smooth.
Make Ahead, Storage & Tips
Make Ahead & Gift
This fudge is perfect to gift and can easily be up to 14 days ahead of time for any event. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container. Layer with parchment paper if making a big batch. When ready to serve or box up bring it to room temperature.
Storage
The ingredients used to make this fudge are pretty shelf stable, so it’s safe to say it can stay out at room temp for a few hours. During the summer or in a warm room this can soften, place it back into the refrigerator to firm up.
Tips
If you like thick fudge, use a small pan or dish. I used a 7’’x5’’, but an 7''x7'' or 8''x8'' would work great. A smaller pan will take a bit longer to firm up the fudge in the refrigerator.
