Pineapple Preserves

Easy homemade pineapple preserves only need 2 simple ingredients, fresh pineapples and sugar. No canning and No pectin required.

  • Measuring Tools
  • Food Processor or Small Blender
  • Cooking Spoon or Spatula
  • Airtight Storage Container or Jar

Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cup Fresh Pineapple roughly chopped
  • ¼ cup White Sugar or to taste

Instructions

  • In a food processor or blender, pulse pineapple until chunky. Just a few pulses.
  • Remove about ½ cup of the chopped pineapple and reserve to mix in later.
  • Fully process or blend the remaining pineapple until smooth.
  • To a saucepan add the blending pineapple and sugar.
  • On low to medium heat reduce the sauce until thickened. Mixing to prevent burning.
  • Add reserved ½ cup pineapple and cook for 1-2 minutes more.
  • Let cool and place in an airtight container or jar. Store in the refrigerator. Enjoy.
