Restaurant Style Alfredo Sauce

The best restaurant style Alfredo sauce made with only 3 ingredients. It's so creamy and thick perfect to mix with fettuccini noodles. No roux and no butter.

Equipment

  • Skillet or Saucepan
  • Whisk

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated
  • 3-4 slices American Cheese, cubed

Instructions

  • Pour heavy cream into a skillet.
  • Bring to a simmer on low medium for 2 minutes.
  • Add parmesan and American cheese little by little and mix after each addition.
  • Whisk until smooth. Simmer for about a minute or two.
    Note: Can be reduced if you like thick sauce, it does thicken when cooling.
  • Pour or toss the sauce in fettuccine noodles. Garnish with extra parmesan and chopped parsley.
