Ingredients

  • ½ lb. Spaghetti (½ Box)
  • 1 lb. Ground Beef or Italian Sausage (Ground Meat of Choice)
  • ½ cup Chopped Onion
  • ½ cup Chopped Sweet Peppers
  • 4 cloves Finely Chopped Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning (Spices of Choice)
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 2 cups Grated Parmesan
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella
  • Salt and Black Pepper

Instructions

Cook Spaghetti

  • Cook spaghetti using the package directions to al dente or minus a couple of minutes from the cooking time. Strain and place in the 9x13 Baking Dish. Toss with a little oil to prevent sticking and set aside.
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Make Alfredo Sauce

  • In a saucepan on medium heat melt the butter.
  • Add heavy cream and mix well until hot, but not boiling.
  • Reduce heat to low and mix in parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Pour right into the baking dish with the cooked spaghetti. Mix well.

Make Red Meat Sauce

  • In a skillet on medium-high heat brown the ground beef or meat. Add in garlic, onion, and sweet peppers. Mix in Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and any additional spices you would like.
  • Add a jar of pasta sauce. Cook on low-medium heat, cover, and let simmer for about 7-8 minutes.
  • Pour or layer the meat sauce on top of the mixed alfredo spaghetti.

Bake the Pasta

  • Once in the baking dish you have a layer of spaghetti mixed with the alfredo sauce and a layer of red meat sauce, then top with the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake uncovered for 15 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Garnish with parsley or basil. Let cool for about 10 minutes.
  • Serve with extra grated Parmesan cheese. Enjoy.
