Easy Refrigerator Dill Pickles - One Jar Recipe

This easy overnight small batch pickle recipe makes one jar. Taste so fresh, crunchy, and flavorful.

  • Cutting Board
  • Glass Jar  Large Working Jar with Plastic Lid
  • Metal Whisk
  • Saucepan
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons

Ingredients

  • 3 Mini Cucumbers (4 inches in length cut into 4 spears or sliced)
  • ½ teaspoon ½ teaspoon Dry Dill Weed (2 teaspoon Fresh Dill)
  • ¾ cup Water + extra water of need to fill your jar
  • ¼ cup White Vinegar
  • 2 Cloves Fresh Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 3-4 pieces All Spice Berries
  • 1,4 teaspoon Whole Mustard Seeds
  • 5 pieces Whole Black Peppercorns
  • 1 Whole Dry Chili (Chili de Arbol)

Instructions

  • Cut your cucumber into 4 spears or slices. Place into your jar or storage container.
  • In a saucepan add ¾ cup water, vinegar, salt, sugar, and all other flavorings or spices.
  • Bring brine to a boil and cool completely.
  • Pour the cooled brine onto the cucumbers in the jar. If needed add additional cold water to cover the cucumbers.
  • Cover the jar and place it into the refrigerator. 
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours but overnight is best. Enjoy.
