This easy 3 ingredient pineapple dump cake recipe with cake mix and fresh pineapple layered in buttery goodness.

Equipment

  • 1 Baking Pan 8x8, 9x13, or 11x13
  • Microwave Safe Bowl
  • Fork

Ingredients

  • 1 15.25 oz Pineapple Cake Mix or White, Yellow, or Spiced
  • 4 cups Fresh Pineapple or Frozen 2 (20oz) cans of Pineapple Tidbits
  • 1 cup Melted Butter or 2 Sticks

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Dump fresh pineapple into the baking pan.
  • Top evenly with the pineapple cake mix.
  • Pour melted butter over cake mix. Optional - You can use a fork to mix the butter into the cake mix for even coverage.
  • Cover with foil and place into oven.
  • Baked covered for about 40 minutes. Then uncovered or an additional 15 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Top with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream or topping of your choice. Enjoy.

Notes

You can substitute canned pineapples (tidbits or crushed) with a 40oz can or (2) 20oz cans.
