Cheddar Bay Biscuit Breakfast Casserole

Delicious breakfast casserole with red lobster cheddar bay biscuits, savory sausage, melted cheddar cheese, and fluffy eggs.

Ingredients

  • 10-12 Eggs
  • ½ cup Half and Half or Heavy Cream
  • ½-1 lb. Breakfast Sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • ½-1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

  • 11.36 box Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits
  • ¾ cup Cold Water
  • ½ cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded

Garlic Butter Topping

  • 3 tbs. Butter, Melted
  • Enclosed Garlic Herb Seasoning Packet

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

  • In a mixing bowl add Red Lobster Biscuit mix package, ½ cup cheese and cold water. Mix until just combined, set aside.

Egg Mixture

  • In a large mixing bowl add the eggs and half and half or heavy cream. Mix well until fully incorporated. Set aside.

Assembly

  • Place cooked sausage in one layer of a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Pour egg mixture onto sausage.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese.
  • Scoop small portions of biscuits mixture onto the egg casserole. About 18 portions.
  • Place into the oven uncovered and bake for 35-40 minutes or until the egg is set and the biscuits are golden brown.
  • While the casserole is baking, make the herb butter topping. Add the melted butter and garlic herb seasoning packet to a small mixing bowl and mix well. Set aside.
  • Carefully casserole dish remove from the oven and brush on the garlic herb butter topping onto the biscuits. Garnish with fresh parsley.
  • Let cool for 15-20 minutes. Cut into squares and enjoy.
