Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits Breakfast Casserole
At this point I just love Red Lobster’s Cheddar Bay biscuits mix. I’ve made the viral chicken cobbler and the biscuits hack using the boxed mix. So why not breakfast this time.
It’s a must try recipe after seeing a few videos on TikTok. You’re going to love it.
You can find the boxed mix in online, bulk stores like Sam’s club and Costco, Walmart and other major grocery stores.
Make this for busy weekends, breakfast potluck, brunch, dinner or holiday mornings.

Ingredients
Eggs- Whole eggs or cholesterol free substitute like eggbeaters.
Boxed Biscuit Mix - Store bought Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuits mix. I used the regular version but there is a gluten-free and honey butter option as well.
Meat - Fully cooked sausage crumbles or any meat. Bacon, chorizo, ham or turkey sausage. For a meat-free version sautéed veggies can be substituted.
Cheese - Shredded cheddar cheese is a classic but colby, pepper jack or American would be delicious.
Butter - Salted or unsalted will be delicious. You can also use a butter substitute as well.
Cream - Half and Half or heavy cream is best. Whole milk can be used in a pinch.
Additional Mix In Options
Now this recipe is so versatile that you can add extra mix in’s for even more flavor.
For best results saute the vegetables and make sure the meat options are fully cooked.
- Onions
- Mini Sweet Peppers or Green Peppers
- Jalapeños
- Mushrooms
- Spinach
- Cubed Cream Cheese
- Pepperoni
- Steak or Brisket
- Cajun Seasoning

Hi Jay, I've never tried them as breakfast muffins, so I don't have directions to do it. But it's a great suggestion, I should recipe test it. Thanks so much for the great question.
