Jalapeno Popper Chicken Dip is the best appetizer. It’s oven baked to creamy and cheesy perfection. Perfect to serve for game day, parties, and holidays.

Equipment

  • Baking Dish 9x13 or Cast Iron Skillet
  • Cutting Board and Knife
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Rubber spatula
  • Hand Mixer

Ingredients

  • 2 8oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 2 cups Chicken fully cooked and shredded
  • ½ cup Bacon fully cooked and chopped
  • 4 fresh Jalapeño Peppers deseeded and chopped
  • ½ cup Sour Cream
  • ½ cup Mayo
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 2 cups Cheddar or Colby Jack Cheese shredded (separated in 1 cup portions)
  • 2 tablespoon Green Onions chopped
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs or Crushed Ritz Crackers

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a mixing bowl add cream cheese, sour cream, mayo, and garlic powder. Mix well until smooth, I like to use a hand mixer.
  • Fold in the jalapeño peppers, bacon, green onions, chicken, and shredded cheese.
  • Scrape the popper mixture into a baking dish and spread into an even layer.
  • Sprinkle the Panko breadcrumbs or crushed Ritz crackers.
  • Place uncovered into the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Bake until the topping is golden and the dip is bubbly.
  • Carefully remove from the oven and top with green onions and extra jalapeños. Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or vegetables. Enjoy.
