Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9x13 baking dish.
In a sauté pan on medium heat add butter and chopped vegetables. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
Add poultry seasoning, aromatics and cooked meat. Cook for an additional 4 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a mixing bowl add the crumbled cornbread, sautéed vegetables and meat, and heavy cream or condensed soup.
Add about 2 cups of the chicken broth. Mix well. Pour additional chicken broth until the mixture is soft and very moist. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Place dressing mixture into the greased 9x13 baking dish. Cover with foil.
Place in oven and bake covered for 30 minutes and uncovered for 15-20 or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven. Let cool for about 30 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley and Enjoy.
