Tater Tot Chicken Pot Pie Casserole

This chicken tot pot pie casserole is a twist on a traditional chicken pot pie dinner. It has rotisserie chicken, tater tots, condensed soup, mixed vegetables, and cheese.

Equipment

  • 9x13 Baking Dish
  • Measuring Tools (Cups)
  • Mixing Spoon or Rubber Spatula
  • Cheese Grater
  • Whisk

Ingredients

  • 2-3 cups Rotisserie Chicken Shredded or Cubed
  • 24 oz Frozen Tater Tots
  • 1 10.5oz Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup Can or Condensed Soup of Choice
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • ¾ cup Whole Milk or Half and Half
  • 1 ½ cups Frozen Mixed Vegetables
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar or Colby Jack, shredded
  • 2 tsp Poultry Seasoning or Chicken Gravy Mix
  • Salt, Pepper, and Spices of Choice

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a 9x13 baking dish dump the condensed chicken soup, sour cream, milk or half and half, poultry seasoning, and spices. Mix well with a whisk.
  • Fold in mixed vegetables, cheese, and chicken. Mix well and spread into a single layer.
  • Top with frozen tater tots.
  • Place into the oven uncovered and bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Let cool and Enjoy.

Notes

If you want an extra cheesy texture, I recommend adding an additional can of cheddar cheese soup and at least one cup of extra shredded cheese.
