This tater tot chicken pot pie casserole is a twist on a traditional chicken pot pie dinner. It has rotisserie chicken, frozen tater tots, condensed soup, mixed vegetables, and cheese.

The idea of this super easy casserole is hot dish meets chicken pot pie. Recipe testing this, made one delicious dump and bake dinner, I must say.
It has all the flavors of a classic creamy chicken pot pie with a crispy tater tot crust. Comfort food at it’s finest. Just yummy.
No mixing bowl needed, just dump the ingredients into a baking dish, mix, top and bake.

Ingredients
Chicken -Store-bought rotisserie chicken or cooked chicken. Remove the skin and shred or cut it into chunks.
Tater Tots - Chose your favorite shape, the traditional or the round discs. Both delicious.
Canned Soup - Cream of chicken or any condensed soup of choice. You can also make it homemade.
Sour Cream - Full or low fat would be delicious.

Milk - Whole or creamy half and half.
Vegetables - I chose mixed vegetables. Peas, carrots, and corn are great alternatives.
Cheese - Cheddar or Colby Jack, is recommended.
Butter- Unsalted or salted.
Spices and Seasoning - Poultry seasoning or chicken gravy mix packets, salt, black pepper, onion and garlic powder, are classic options.

How To Serve
This is a great one pan meal with a starch and a protein. Since the oven is going roast more vegetables or bake bread rolls. Serve with a green salad and fruit.

Leftovers and Storage
After enjoying this chicken tot casserole, store the leftovers covered in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the refrigerator. It can also be frozen for up to3 months.

You can freezer prep the whole baked casserole dish. Make sure is has be fully cooled and wrapped well to prevent freezer burn. Let in thaw in the fridge and it’s ready to reheat.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a 9x13 baking dish dump the condensed chicken soup, sour cream, milk or half and half, poultry seasoning, and spices.

4. Mix or fold in mixed vegetables, cheese, and shredded chicken.

5. Mix well and spread into a single layer.

6. Top with frozen tater tots.
7. Place into the oven uncovered.

8. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
