Ingredients and Substitutions
Chicken- Thin whole chicken breast is what I used but tenders or thighs will work perfectly. You can also cut them into chunks prior to cooking them.
Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan Sauce- If it’s not available at your local grocery store substitute any garlic parmesan sauce. Kinder’s brand, Sweet Baby Ray’s, and store brands will all work.
Butter & Oil - Unsalted is best to control the sodium. Use a high temp neutral oil like avocado or vegetable.
Cream - Heavy cream is perfect to make the quick alfredo sauce. Substitute half and half in a pinch.
Parmesan - Freshly grated parmesan is best. To save time use pre-shredded or grated.
Cream Cheese - This recipe uses a whole block, but if you prefer substitute with heavy cream 1:1 ratio.
Pasta - Any short pasta would be great. Penne, bowtie, rigatoni, or cheese tortellini.
Cooking Methods
There are two popular ways to make this delicious pasta recipe, the crockpot or stovetop.
On The Stovetop
I personally love the one pot or skillet method, made in about 30 minutes.
Browning the chicken cutlets adds so much flavor to the dish. The dinner table presentation is amazing when you garnish with extra sauce, grated parmesan, and parsley.
In The Crockpot
If your wanting a dump in crockpot or set it and forget it for a few hours meal, this technique is perfect.
Layer the uncooked seasoned chicken, parmesan garlic sauce, heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and cream cheese in crockpot.
Set the crockpot on high and cook for 3-4 hours or on low for 5-6 hours. After it’s fully cooked shred the chicken and mix in cooked pasta. Garnish with extra grated parmesan cheese and parsley.
Tips and Suggestions

Save cook time by using leftover cooked chicken or buying a rotisserie at the grocery store. Just mix it in when you are adding the pasta.
Set aside about a half cup of the garlic alfredo sauce. To garnish the top of the chicken with.
