3 Ingredients Strawberry Crunch Topping

Keep these ingredients on hand in the pantry and refrigerator for crunch topping anytime.

Freeze Dried Strawberries -  I try to keep small packets on hand in the pantry. 

Golden Oreos- Any vanilla creme sandwich cookies will work, my favorite are golden Oreos. 

Butter - Any variety salted, unsalted, vegan or margarine in a pinch.

This strawberry crunch topping can be used to top desserts and even breakfast. Cheesecake, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, doughnuts, pancakes, French toast, waffles, yogurt, muffins, pies, bars, banana pudding, and even oatmeal.

Storage and Freezing

Store the strawberry crunch topping in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.

For longer storage in the freezer for up to 3 months.

  1. Grab the freeze dried strawberries, golden Oreos and melted butter.

2. Place the freeze dried strawberries, Golden Oreos or vanilla sandwich cookies into the food processor.

Note: Freeze dried strawberries can have an intense flavor. To balance it add more Golden Oreos, if preferred.

3. Pulse until you see crumbles. Try not over process too small.

Note: You can use a rolling pin and zipper bag, if you do not want to use or have a food processor or small blender.

4. Place crumbles in a mixing bowl and add melted butter.

5. Mix well and evenly.

Easy Strawberry Crunch Topping

This no bake strawberry crunch topping with freeze dried strawberries and golden Oreos only takes 5 minutes to make.

  • Food Processor or Small Blender
  • Small Mixing Bowl
  • Rolling Pin
  • Zipper Bag

Ingredients

  • .26 oz Freeze Dried Strawberries
  • 5 Golden Oreos or Vanilla Sandwich Cookies
  • 1 tablespoon Butter, melted

Instructions

  • Place the freeze dried strawberries, Golden Oreos or vanilla sandwich cookies into the food processor.
  • Pulse until you see crumbles. Try not over process too small.
    Note: You can use a rolling pin and zipper bag, if you do not want to use or have a food processor or small blender.
  • Remove crumbles and place into a small mixing bowl. Add the melted butter and mix well. Enjoy.
